The Ozark Lady Tigers have hosted the tournament each of the last ten years.
The tournament played host to twelve teams and was coordinated by Ozark head coach Jared Lotz, who returned for his second year in the leadership role of the Ozark team.
The weather was cooperative, and course conditions were very good, Lotz said.
The golfers were paired in groups of 3, and played shotgun backwards starting from hole1.
The top three teams from last year, Kickapoo, Branson, and Nixa respectively, returned to defend their titles. Branson and Nixa did not finish in the top three of the team standings.
Play was well-paced, and the girls finished nearly on schedule, the goal being five hours. Lunch was provided to the participants at the cut.
The most difficult holes, in order, are considered to be 17, 14, and 11, Lotz said.
The girls must walk the entire 18, the use of a pull cart is allowed. The ball was played “down,” reflective of the excellent course conditions, Lotz said.
