State golf round up



State golf finished up on Tuesday with many great local performances.

Kickapoo's John Fuchs finished highest in the area at tied for 10th. He shot a 76 on day one and came back with a 75 today to finish at 151 for the tournament. Ozark's Miles Aduddell was the only other All-State finisher in Class 4 with a 13th place finish. He shot a 77 on day one and a 75 today to finish at 152.

Kickapoo was the only local team competing and finished sixth with a team total of 644.

CLASS 3 - CLICK HERE FOR COMPLETE RESULTS
Rogersville's Davis Alec Palen led the way for the area in Class 3 as he tied for fifth with a 147 for the tournament. He shot 74 and 73 in the two rounds. Bolivar's Haden Stevens came in at 151, which was good for 10th. Clayton Moles of Marshfield and Ben Charles of West Plains were the only other SW Missouri All-Staters in Class 3. Moles tied for 12th with a 153 and Charles was tied for 14th with a 154.

West Plains finished fourth as a team with a 644.

Licking's Ian Barnes finished tied for second in the Class 2 Tournament with rounds of 75 and 80 for a 155. Three SW Missouri golfer finished in a tie for sixth with Seneca's Bradley Jumper, Lamar's Landon Maberry and Ash Grove's Sean Mulkey all carding matching 156's. Jumper had the low round of the three with a 74 on day two to bounce back from his opening 82. Maberry shot two 78's and Mulkey carded a 79 and 77.

Lamar finished second as a team with a 651 total. Mt. Vernon ended up tied for sixth.

Purdy's Phillip Roller was consistent with an 81 on day one and an 80 on day to finish with a 161 total score that was good for a tie for sixth. Thayer's Zach Steed was the only other local finisher to make All-State as his 166 total score placed him in a tie for 11th.

Steed's team finished sixth in the team competition with a total of 732.
