First Quarter
The Republic Tigers have commanded much of the opening period, leading by as many as five thanks to Jake Fletcher's 3-point buzzer-beater to conclude the first quarter, 15-10.  Fletcher has two 3-pointers thus far, regardless of not scoring a single one in the semifinal game against Liberty North.
 
Second Quarter
The Tigers controlled the tempo after jumping out to a 22-12 lead in the first two minutes of the second quarter, but Normandy then returns the favor with a 10-0 run of their own to tie Republic at 22 with 2:30 left. Grant Hancock hit a field goal with five seconds remaining in the second period, but the Tigers close the first half down by one, 26-25. In the first half alone, Republic committed 12 turnovers, but they are shooting 10/16 from the field with three 3-pointers.

Third Quarter
Republic goes 3:30 without scoring in the third quarter, but Dylan Bekemeier gets the Tigers on the board with a two field goals. McLemore then retaliates with a 3-pointer for Normandy, running up the Vikings' lead early in second half. Bekemeier hits a crucial 3-pointer with less than a minute to go to pull the Tigers within three off Normandy, but the Vikings closed the quarter with the deep 3-pointer.

Fourth Quarter
Jake Fletcher buckets a 3-pointer at the 5:45 mark to bring Republic within one, then Canyon Smith's lay-in gives the Tigers their first lead since the second quarter. Normandy battles back with 1:30 left to pull within one point of Republic, but the Tigers clinched their first state title since 1963 with a 54-51 victory over Normandy. Cody Geiger paved the way for Republic with a double-double performance of 20 points and 10 rebounds. Jake Fletcher tallied up 15 points with four 3-pointers. The Tigers excelled offensively after shooting 50% from the field and 55.6% from the arc.

Class 5 Boys
Hickman 65, Vianney 53 - FINAL
       Hickman finished their season with their 27-3 record and a Class 5 third place finish over Vianney by a margin of 12 points. The Kewpies shot 47.4% from the field, finishing with three players in double-figures, led by Christopher Clark's 19 points, Douglas Johnson added 15, and James Whitt chipped in with 14. Sean O'Brien netted a game-high 21 points despite Vianney's season ending loss.

Rockhurst 73, DeSmet 59 - FINAL
      The Hawklets concluded their season on a 26-5 record after knocking off De Smet in the Class 5 championship saturday night, 73-59. Rockhurst found most of their scoring success in the second half, shooting 50% (14-28) from the field and 42.9 % (3-7) from the arc. Kyle Wolf's 30-point outburst led Rockhurst to a gold state title finish. James Barton and Nolan Berry recorded 20 and 16 points respectively for De Smet.

Class 4 Girls
Incarnate Word 63, Webb City 22 - FINAL
First Quarter
Incarnate Word ran the floor offensively, sustaining a double-digit lead over the Webb City Lady Cardinals majority of the opening quarter. Webb City's zone defense struggled with Incarnate's spread offense, as the Lady Red Knights shot 63% in the first quarter.

Second Quarter
The Lady Cardinals are 23% from the field, and they continue to have issues combating Incarnate's defensive pressure. Webb City is only 1/10 from the 3-point line and have committed six turnovers. Desirea Buerge leads Webb City with eight points and nine rebounds at the half. Point guard Mikaela Burgess has five.

Third Quarter
Webb City's offense has led to numerous turnovers which have been detrimental to their scoring success. Incarnate held the Lady Cardinals to a 16-2 run, and Webb City has only capitalized on one of their 12 possessions in the third quarter.

Fourth Quarter
Incarnate Word grabbed the lead early on in the game and never looked back, as the Lady Red Knights come away with the Class 4 state championship with an undefeated record of 31-0. Napheesa Collier shined for the Lady Red Knights with 24 points and 14 rebounds, while Nia Roth added 14. Webb City was led by Desirea Buerge with eight points, Mikaela Burgess had five.

Class 5 Girls
Blue Springs 45, Cor Jesu Academy 13 - FINAL
       Blue Springs defeats Cor Jesu Academy for a bronze finish in the Class 5 3rd place game, 45-13. Elizabeth Wendell contributed 15 points for the Wildcats to lead all scorers. Cor Jesu struggled offensively, shooting 13.3% from the field and going 0-9 from the 3-point line. Blue Springs on the other hand was 41.2% from behind the arc.

Rock Bridge 45, St. Joseph's Academy 38 - FINAL
       Rock Bridge utilized a 20-7 fourth quarter run to overcome St. Joseph's Academy in their second consecutive state championship win. Sophie Cunningham contributed 16 points for the Lady Bruins. St. Joseph's Academy was held to only three players scoring, led by Erin Nelson's 22-point showing.
