Sean Williamson resigns as Glendale head coach

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Glendale head boys basketball coach Sean Williamson has resigned his position after nine seasons with the school, SPS Athletic Director Mark Fisher confirmed Friday afternoon.

Williamson did not coach the team's district game Monday night in Branson; a loss to Ozark.  The Falcons finished 10-15 this season.

Williamson, who previously coached at Willard and Conway was 171-72 at Glendale, including a pair of Ozark Conference championships and a district title in 2006.

He was also the boys and girls golf coach.
