Pressey earns SEC Player of the Week

Missouri’s Phil Pressey was named SEC Player of the Week after scoring a career-high 26 points to go with five assists in a win over Bucknell. His previous high was 23 against Texas last season in the conference tournament. Pressey has dished 35 assists over his last three games and with his five dimes today he moved into a tie for third all-time in school history. He equaled Larry Drew (current Atlanta Hawks Head Coach) with 433. Pressey is also just seven dimes shy of topping the century mark in assists for the third consecutive season. He now has 93. Against UCLA on Dec. 28 he tied an SEC record with 19 assists to go with 19 points against the Bruins.
