Ozark is still No. 1, but there was a lot of movement behind the Tigers as Fair Grove has climbed up to No. 3 this week week followed by Carl Junction and Billings.
1. (1) Ozark (12-5)
The Tigers remain in the top spot for the third consecutive week. Last week Ozark opened COC-Large play without dropping a set over Branson and Carthage. This week Ozark visits Nixa and Neosho. None of the Tigers’ five losses have been to a team in the area.

3. (5) Carl Junction (15-4-3)
The Bulldogs have reeled off eight consecutive wins, including home victories over Seneca and Mount Vernon. Carl Junction, which has just one senior, is definitely the early favorite for the Big 8 title.
4. (6) Billings (13-2-1)
The champions of the Everton and Verona tournaments have been on a roll this season, winning 11 of their last 12 games. Billings opened SWCL play last week with a win over Galena. This week the Wildcats host Marionville.
5. (7) Republic (11-4)
Republic continues to play sound volleyball this year. Last week’s wins over Carthage and Branson leave the Tigers 2-0 in COC-Large play heading into this week’s games at Neosho and at home against Nixa. Republic will be in the Lebanon Tournament next weekend.
6. (9) Buffalo (18-3)
If you aren’t on the Bison bandwagon, there is still time to jump on. Last week Buffalo defeated traditional COC-Small powers Rogersville and Reeds Spring, both of whom were state-ranked. This week the Bison host Springfield Catholic and Marshfield before heading to the Stockton Tournament.
7. (NR) Willard (17-3)
The Tigers are this week’s biggest movers in the poll after being unranked last week. COC-Large wins at Nixa and at home over Neosho have Willard unbeaten and in position for a conference championship. Led by senior Tessa Thornton and her 101 kills, Willard’s energy and savvy play should get them past Neosho and Carthage next week.
