SPRINGFIELD - On a day of personal milestones for the senior guard, Alex Hall scored 22 points to lead six Panthers in double-figures and Drury coasted to a 98-50 victory over previously unbeaten Central Christian in a men's non-conference college basketball matchup Saturday afternoon at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

Hall was one of six Panthers to reach double-figures as Drury improved to 5-0 and handed Central Christian, an NAIA Division II member from McPherson, Kan., its first loss in 10 games. 

Teddy Simniok had 14 points and four steals, Cameron Adams and Derek Daniels scored 12 points each off the bench and Brandon Lockhart and Ian Carter added 10 points each on a day when the Panthers rested freshman guard Kameron Bundy (groin) as a precaution in preparation for Thursday's Great Lakes Valley Conference opener against Missouri Science and Technology at The O'.

Lockhart also had five steals, four rebounds and three assists in his 26 minutes as 11 Panthers found the scoring column in a game in which they led handily (42-20) at the halftime break.

With Hall hitting 8 of 13 shots and Simniok making 5 of 7, Drury shot a blistering 61 percent from the field (36 of 59), while limiting Central Christian to 33 percent (13 of 40).

Hall's output pushed him into a tie with former Panthers star Chris Mortellaro for 11th place on DU's all-time scoring list with 1,582 points, as he moved past former DU standout Brent Stuckey (1,568 points from 1971-75) to catch Mortellaro, whose totals came from 2000-04. Hall now needs 17 points to overtake Tommy Deffebaugh (1,598 from 1981-85) and join the Top 10 scorers in Drury's illustrious basketball history.

Hall also made four 3-pointers (in seven tries) to push his career total to 280 and scoot past current DU assistant coach Steven Gum (277) for second place on the school's all-time list for 3-pointers made. Matt Miller, Drury's current Executive Director for Athletic Affairs, holds the record with the 351 treys he made from 1998-2002.

Chris Jones had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead Central Christian, which committed 24 turnovers to just 11 by the Panthers.
