MBCA releases week one girls basketball rankings



There was a lot of movement in the MBCA Rankings after the first full week of basketball. There are two new No. 1 teams this week with Classes 2 and 3 both getting new top squads. In Class 2, Sturgeon went from unranked to No. 1 this week. In all, five class two teams moved from outside of the top 10 to in the rankings this week.

In Class 3, former No. 1 Principia slipped to No. 5 after a loss, which left the door open for Hermann to slide up to the top spot. Ash Grove now sits at No. 2.
The complete rankings are below with last week's ranking in parenthesis in front of the school name.
