Gainesville 74, Koshkonong 19 FINAL
       Josh Peter of Gainesville poured a game-high 18 points to lead the Bulldogs to a big win over Koshkonong.

Springfield Catholic 64, Miller 54 FINAL
       The Fighting Irish held off Miller 64-54 to even their record to 4-4. Tyler Ast led Catholic with 18 points.

Alton 66, Houston 56 FINAL
       Alton defeated Houston by a margin of 10, improving to 9-2 this season.

Golden City 82, Bronaugh 67 FINAL
        Dakota Triplett netted 42 points in Golden City's win over Bronaugh.
 
Strafford 79, Conway 62 FINAL
        Strafford improves to 8-1 after defeating Conway Monday night. The Indians will play Lebanon in the opening round of the Blue and Gold Tournament Dec. 26.

Bolivar 57, Clinton 40 FINAL
         The Liberators will face Springfield Central Dec. 18, after taking a victory over Clinton.

College Men’s Basketball:
Missouri 102, South Carolina State 51 FINAL
       Jabari Brown, playing in his first game since Nov. 17, 2011 when he was a freshman at Oregon, scored 12 points and No. 12 Missouri beat South Carolina State 102-51 on Monday night. Brown, 6-foot-5, 205-pound guard, became eligible at the end of the first semester. He entered the game with 16:01 left in the first half. After a missed 3-pointer, he assisted on a fast-break layup by Negus Webster-Chan. He scored his first points on two free throws with 9:35 remaining. Phil Pressey's jumper 17 seconds into the game gave Missouri (9-1) the lead for good. An 18-2 run midway through the first half gave the Tigers a 31-11 lead with 5:58 left. Matthew Hezekiah led South Carolina State (4-7) with 14 points. Despite not playing for nine days, the Tigers scored 49 points in the first half, representing the team's best this season. Missouri had been shooting 39.6 percent in the first half for the season before its 18-for-33 performance Monday. The team did better in the second half, adding 53 points on 23-of-39 shooting, helping Missouri reach the 100-point mark for the first time since Dec. 15, 2011. Earnest Ross led the Tigers with 16 points and Alex Oriakhi grabbed 11 rebounds. Laurence Bowers' 11 points gave him 1,001 for his career, becoming the 44th Missouri player to reach the 1,000-point plateau.

Harrisonville Tournament:
Drexel 54, Nevada 49 FINAL
      Out in the Harrisonville Tournament, Drexel knocked off Nevada in the opening round 54-49.
 
Regular Season:

       Republic rolls by Kickapoo 62-36 thanks in large part to Alice Heinzler's 33 point outburst for the Lady Tigers. Kickapoo and Republic will both play in the opening round of the Pink and White Tournament Dec. 26.

Fair Grove 57, Rogersville 36 FINAL  -  CLICK HERE FOR STORY
        Host Fair Grove rocked Rogersville as Morgan Kensinger led the Lady Eagles with a double-double performance of 20 points and 12 rebounds. Fair Grove will play Mid-Lakes Conference rival Ash Grove Dec. 20. The Lady Wildcats take on Kickapoo Dec. 26 in the Pink and White Lady Classic.

       The Lady Pirates drop Southwest in a battle of the unbeatens. Halee Cashio led Ash Grove, which had four players in double-figures, with 21 points. Ash Grove takes on Fair Grove in a Mid-Lakes Conference showdown Thursday.

      The Lady Vikings snag their second win of the season over Aurora, 71-55. Parkview will battle it out with Nixa Thursday at home. Aurora will play at Hillcrest Dec. 20.

      The Tigers grabbed an early lead of 35-7 in the first period, including 13 points by Heather Harman and a trio of three-pointers from Madi Freeze. The Tigers streaked through the next three periods to finish 78-38 over the Wildcats. Billings will meet Southwest (Washburn) in the first round of the Walnut Grove Tournament.
 
Nixa 67, Glendale 19 FINAL
       Nixa's duo of Jeana Raper and Shelby Ewing shined for the Lady Eagles in their big win over Nixa, as Raper scored a game-high of 20 and Ewing added 16 points. The Lady Eagles will play Parkview Dec. 20, while Glendale begins gameplay in the Pink Division Dec. 26 against Little Rock-Hall.
 
Marionville 36, East Newton 24 FINAL
       Jaycie Dishman finishes with 15 points in Marionville's home-win over East Newton. The Lady Comets will host Crane Dec. 20 at 6:00.

Chadwick 54, Galena 22 FINAL
       Chadwick stomps Galena with the help of Kailynn Rozell's 16 point showing. The Lady Cardinals improve to 6-1 on the season.

Hartville 60, Sparta 50 FINAL
       The Lady Eagles serve Sparta their first loss of the season by a margin of 10. Sparta's Cailyn Long led the game with 20 points despite the Lady Trojans loss. Hartville's Kelsey Olsen, Jerrica Horn, and Meagan O'Dell all found similar scoring success with 12 points each. Sparta will square up with Strafford Dec. 20.

Gainesville 46, Conway 34 FINAL
       Madison Strong dropped 23 points for Gainesville in their victory over Conway.

Hillcrest 74, Reeds Spring 45 FINAL - CLICK HERE FOR STORY
       The Lady Hornets crushed Reeds Spring 74-45 Monday night at home. Kelsey Cleeton led Hillcrest with 22 points, Kelby Painter added 17 and Brittany Fisher chipped in with 11 points. Hillcrest will host Aurora Dec. 20.

Thayer 67, MV-BT/Liberty 58 FINAL
       The Lady Bobcats claim their sixth consecutive win over Liberty, 67-58.
 
Bolivar 51, Willard 44 FINAL
      Sophomore Randi Hancock led the Lady Liberators with 16 points in Bolivar's win over Willard at home. Bolivar plays at Hollister Dec. 18. Willard will face Skyline Dec. 26 in the Pink and White Lady Classic.

Springfield Central 42, Joplin 33 FINAL
        The Lady Bulldogs edged Joplin by a margin of 9, as Central plays Ash Grove Dec. 21.
 
Mount Vernon 48, Marshfield 34 FINAL
         Mount Vernon improves to 4-3 after their victory over Marshfield Monday night. The Lady Mountaineers play Purdy Dec. 21. Marshfield will face Skyline Thursday night.
 
New Covenant 66, Lutie 35 FINAL
       The Lady Warriors pummel Lutie, 66-35. New Covenant will play at Bradleyville Jan. 7.

Stockton 66, Strafford 55 FINAL
        Strafford will travel to Sparta to face the Lady Trojans Dec. 20., after falling to Stockton by 11.
