Exeter boys basketball will be looking for a breakout season after five consecutive seasons of three wins or fewer.
The Tigers return two all-conference selections in senior guard Kris Allen and junior forward Corey Hilburn. Hilburn led the team with 22 points per game on his way to a second-team all-conference selection. Allen averaged 18 points per game and earned honorable mention all-conference honors.
“These two will be the team leaders because of their commitment to the program and desire for team success,” coach Tremanye Williams said.

Freshmen Zachary Lee and Nathan Tackett along with Hank Woods will look to contribute on varsity.
“(We expect to) improve upon last season, and make a good run during playoff time,” Williams said. “We are excited to play ball.”
Exeter opens the season on Nov. 23 at home against Joplin Thomas Jefferson.
