SPS Announces three new head coaches

Springfield Public Schools announced the hiring of three new athletic coaches today.

Bret Gallion will take over as the Parkview baseball head coach, Brandon Kimbrough  has been hired as Springfield Central’s boys basketball head coach, and Jordan Fielding will take over at Hillcrest as the new head basketball coach.

Gallion has served as the assistant softball and baseball coach at Parkview High School since 2012 . Gallion played baseball at Drury University.

Kimbrough is currently the assistant men’s basketball coach for Drury University, having completed his eighth season with the Panthers. He played three seasons for Drury and professionally for three seasons in England. Kimbrough played high school basketball at Glendale.

Fielding is the current assistant varsity boys basketball coach at Hillcrest High School. Prior to coaching at Hillcrest, Fielding was the assistant varsity boys basketball coach at Kickapoo High School. A graduate of Hillcrest High School, Fielding played both basketball and golf for Evangel University.
