West Virginia junior Lamont West confirmed that he’ll transfer to Missouri State on his Twitter account Sunday.
Stadium basketball reporter Jeff Goodman first reported the news.
West will graduate from West Virginia this Spring, which makes him eligible to play for the Bears for one season.
He played three seasons for the Mountaineers, starting 20 of their 36 games this past season.
The 6-foot-8, 222-pound forward averaged 11.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per game as a junior.
He is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio.
