Missouri State Lady Bears heading to Ames, IA for first round of NCAA Tournament

The Missouri State Lady Bears are heading to Ames, IA for the first round of the NCAA Tournament. MSU is an 11 seed and will face No. 6 DePaul at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Missouri State brings a record of 23-9 into the tournament while DePaul is at 26-7. The Blue Demons won the Big East Tournament title and were runner-up in the regular season to Marquette. They have an RPI of 18 while Missouri State has an RPI of 52.

The two teams have one common opponent in Loyola. DePaul beat Loyola 102-76 on Dec. 20. Missouri State holds three wins over Loyola by scores of 84-49, 85-58 and 59-50.

Iowa State is the No. 3 seed and the host with New Mexico State as the No. 14 seed.
