Walnut Grove grad Bayley Harman transfers to Evangel

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — First-year Evangel women’s basketball coach has added a midseason splash to the roster as for Missouri Class 1 Player of the Year Bayley Harmanhas joined the Crusaders and is eligible immediately for the spring semester.

Harman finished her prep career with over 2,000 points at Walnut Grove High School where she captured a state title and helped the Lady Tigers to three Missouri Final Four appearances. A three-time all-state selection, Harman also earned all-district and all-conference honors three times during her career after averaging 24 points per game and 6.0 rebounds per game.

Evangel returns to action Thursday, Jan. 3, at Culver-Stockton before heading to Grand View for a noon meeting with the Vikings in Des Moines, Iowa. Tipoff Thursday is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
