Walnut Grove senior Logan Thomazin signed with Missouri State baseball on Tuesday. The two-sport star is also the reigning Class 1 Basketball Player of the Year. He is one three-point make away from setting the career record in Missouri. Last year as a junior, Thomazin went 4-1 with a 1.99 ERA and 74 strikeouts in 34 innings (2.17/inning) on the mound. He hit .515 with 5 home runs, driving in 23 and scoring 40 runs.
