Kickapoo graduate Jared Ridder announced he is leaving Xavier before his freshman season was about to begin on Twitter Friday night.

Ridder was one of the most decorated players in Ozarks history after being named Mr. Show-Me Basketball and the Class 5 Player of the Year for leading his Chiefs to a third place finish in Class 5 as a senior. He set both the single season and career scoring records for Kickapoo.
