Three high school basketball stars from the Ozarks have been nominated to play in the 2017 McDonald’s All-American Games on March 29 in Chicago. Final rosters have yet to be announced.

The Kickapoo duo of Jared Ridder and Cam Davis, along with Lebanon’s Kelsey Winfrey, were selected as nominees from the Show-Me State.

Winfrey, a Mizzou commit, was one of five Missouri female high school players to be nominated. She’s averaging around 25 points, seven rebounds, three assists and five steals per game this season.

On the boys’ side, Kickapoo was the only school in Missouri with more than one nominee.

Ridder and Davis were both all-state players last season, when Kickapoo finished runner-up to Chaminade in Class 5. Ridder, a Xavier commit, is averaging over 25 points per game this season and Davis, a Navy commit, is averaging close to 20.

Ridder, Davis and the Chiefs will be competing in this weekend’s Bass Pro Tournament of Champions.
