Emily Chadwell, Norwood, Class 1
The best Class 1 team in the region seems to be Norwood, and Chadwell has been the backbone for the Pirates, tossing five shutouts amidst 20 complete games.
16-4, 114.0 IP, 110 SO, 1.66 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, 20 CG, 5 ShO

Haile Farris, Camdenton, Class 4
Farris was on the radar after a good freshman year, but the jump she took as a sophomore was much bigger than imagined. This Camdenton staff is deep, and it was tough to decide between Farris, Kelly Uthe (7-1, 1.67 ERA, 1.19 WHIP) and Kylee Compton (5-1, 1.57 ERA, 0.87 WHIP).
7-1, 49.0 IP, 66 SO, 1.86 ERA, 0.86 WHIP

Abbey Gann, West Plains, Class 3
Gann has been fantastic for West Plains this season, leading the Zizzers to a 1-seed in their district tournament and passing the 200-strikeout line in the regular season.
19-4, 143.0 IP, 207 SO, 1.32 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, 20 CG, 3 ShO

Kari Hatridge, Salem, Class 3
Not Salem’s opening day starter, Hatridge has been great for the Tigers this season and might be their most important piece this postseason.
14-0, 84.0 IP, 99 SO, 1.25 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, 12 CG, 4 ShO

Tailor Hutsell, El Dorado Springs, Class 2
Hutsell was a ‘Pitcher to Watch’ this summer and backed up that title with one of the best K/IP ratios in the region.
12-7, 106.2 IP, 176 SO, 1.84 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, 13 CG, 3 ShO

Josie Lone, Cassville, Class 3
Lone first got attention this season with a perfect game back in August. Since then, she’s carried Cassville throughout a memorable season and has a big chance at pitching for a district title and more.
15-7, 141.1 IP, 193 SO, 1.73 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, 20 CG, 6 ShO

Sydney Miller, Willow Springs, Class 2
Tough to pick between Sydney Miller and Kirstien Loman (0.91 ERA, 0.84 WHIP), but Miller’s extra work (35.2 more innings) is why she’s in this poll. Both pitchers have been fantastic all year for a very good Willow Springs team.
12 GS, 89.1 IP, 139 SO, 1.65 ERA, 0.87 WHIP

Brooke Pridgen, Ozark, Class 4
Pridgen has been the workhorse for an Ozark team that’s the No. 1 seed in its district and won 22 games this season.
19-5, 153.1 IP, 98 SO, 2.94 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, 19 CG, 1 ShO

Bridget Rippe, Willard, Class 4
One of the best pitchers around, Rippe’s consistency on the mound helped Willard to an 18-win regular season that included a final stretch in which they allowed just 20 runs over their final 14 games. She is one of just three pitchers here with over 200 Ks in the regular season and is second to Rook in shutouts.
18-9, 132.0 IP, 205 K, 1.56 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, 7 ShO

Rachel Rook, Republic, Class 4
Rook has spent a career putting up some of the best stats in Missouri softball history. Heading into the district tournament, she is 10 strikeouts away from 1,000 for her career. She leads this lits in shutouts.
18-6, 140.1 IP, 241 SO, 1.25 ERA, 0.81 WHIP, 20 CG, 9 ShO
