SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State University Athletics is putting its money where its mouth is. Starting August 1, all new season ticket holders may purchase their seats for the upcoming men’s basketball season with absolutely no risk.

The Bears’ money-back guarantee gives new season ticket holders until Dec. 29 to make up their minds on whether or not they would like to keep their seats for the entire 2016-17 season. If they like what they see on the court, they can simply keep using the tickets, and MSU ticketing personnel will contact them to make arrangements for payment and any applicable seat assessments. If they don’t want to keep their tickets, they simply return their unused tickets to the JQH Arena Box Office, and their credit card will be refunded for the entire cost of the season tickets.

“Bears basketball is one of the most prolific sporting events in our community, and we really believe in this team,” said MSU Director of Athletics Kyle Moats. “We are ready for an exciting season and getting our community back to JQH Arena. With 17 home games in store, we guarantee fans will see something they enjoy.”

To take advantage of this amazing offers, fans can call (417) 836-8899 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., weekdays to select their seats and join the maroon movement.

“This is a great deal, hands down,” said Moats. “Our current season ticket holders have asked us to find a way to get more people in the seats and get more people to try MSU basketball. I think we’ve done that in a very big way.”

The offer is good for all seating areas at JQH Arena, except loge seats, courtside seats and the first five rows of Sections B, C, D, K, L and M. Returning season ticket holders from the 2015-16 season are not eligible for the money-back guarantee program. BearsFund seat assessments must be paid in full by January 15, 2017.

MSU head coach Paul Lusk is entering his sixth season as head coach of the Bears and returns four starters, nine lettermen and more than 70 percent of the club’s scoring and rebounding for the 2016-17 campaign.
