Capping off his senior campaign with another 1 Awards nomination, Choe was key to Central’s fourth consecutive district title. The No. 1 player in his senior year at Central, Choe saw his season end at the hands of a Rock Bridge player in the sectional round.

Garrett Howard, Kickapoo – CLICK HERE TO READ MORE ABOUT HOWARD

Ranked No. 9 in the state, Howard was key to Kickapoo’s impressive 16-2 season record. He also helped the Chiefs to a runner-up finish in the Ozark Conference tournament and a first-place finish in the Springfield Catholic tournament.

Reid Jarvis, Glendale – CLICK HERE TO READ MORE ABOUT JARVIS

Just a freshman, Jarvis battled out a tough third set test at the Class 2 state singles tournament to earn third place. Jarvis was also key to Glendale’s 2016 district title and their runner-up finish at the annual Springfield Invite.

Jason Nayar, Catholic

Nayar was a huge contributor to Catholic’s successes in 2016. Aside from placing sixth at the Class 1 singles tournament, the sophomore helped the Irish to winning a district title and getting them to their first Final Four appearance in 13 years.
