SPRINGFIELD — Drury senior standout guard Annie Armstrong has been named an Honorable Mention All-America selection by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, the organization announced on Monday night.

Armstrong, a Springfield Kickapoo prep product, averaged 15.7 points and guided the Lady Panthers to a 26-5 final record and into the NCAA-II Sweet 16 last weekend. She finished her career as the No. 11 scorer in the program's illustrious history with 1,179 points in just three seasons as a Lady Panther, after transferring back to DU from Eckerd (Fla.) College after her freshman season.

Armstrong also ranked among the national leaders this past season with her .459 shooting percentage on 3-pointers (72 of 157) and her .939 percent at the free-throw line (107 of 114).

Armstrong was one of only two players from the Great Lakes Valley Conference to earn WBCA status; Lewis senior standout Mariyah Brawner-Henley was named a member of the 10-player All-America squad.
