Baseball Bears home opener pushed back to Wednesday

With inclement weather expected for Tuesday (March 1), Missouri State has postponed its 2016 home baseball opener with Oral Roberts until Wednesday (March 2) afternoon, when the Bears and Golden Eagles will face off in a 3:05 p.m. contest at Hammons Field.

Bears' 2016 single-game tickets are priced at $5 for the general public, $2.50 for Missouri State faculty and staff, $2 for students and $4 per adult ($2 for children) for groups of 20 or more for the 2016 season. All children ages 12 and under will require a $2 ticket for admission.

Season-ticket packages are also on sale, with lower-level reserved chairback seats available for $100 to the general public, $50 for Missouri State faculty and staff and $20 for students. Students must show a valid and current BearPass Card along with a student ticket to gain entry to Hammons Field. Missouri State is also offering complimentary season-long admission for up to two children (ages 12 and under) with the purchase of two 2015 season tickets. All season and single-game tickets for the 2016 campaign will be available through the MSU Athletics Box Office at JQH Arena, online at MissouriStateBears.com or by calling Duane Miller at (417) 836-8899.
