Alice Heinzler made seven 3-pointers and scored 24 points and Hannah Dressler added 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead No. 19 Drury to an 82-64 Great Lakes Valley Conference victory over Rockhurst Thursday night at Mason-Halpin Fieldhouse.

Annie Armstrong added 11 points and Brook Duncan had 10 points off the bench as the Lady Panthers improved to 13-3 overall and 6-2 in the GLVC.

Rockhurst fell to 10-6 and 3-5.

"Alice got a role and really gave us such a boost with her shooting," Drury coach Molly Miller said. "Hannah played her heart out today, too … she wanted this as bad as anyone. Really proud of the way she played hard and encouraged her teammates to do the same.

"Everyone was really able to contribute in this game, which was nice to see."

Mary Dineen had 17 points and Lauren Meyer had 15 points to lead the Hawks.

The Panthers led 16-13, but stretched that lead to 39-27 at the half. Heinzler hit a pair of 3-pointers early in the third quarter to start the DU pullaway.

Drury hit 10 of its first 15 3-pointers and and finished 13 of 21 from behind the line (62 percent), led by a 7-for-10 showing from Heinzler.

The Lady Panthers also posted 19 assists, led by four each from Dressler, Addy Roller and Heather Harman.

With Dressler dominating the boards, DU claimed a 44-38 rebounding advantage. Heinzler grabbed six and Paige Wilson had five rebounds for the Lady Panthers, who limited Rockhurst to 35 percent shooting (20 of 57) and forced 15 turnovers while committing just 10 themselves.

Drury continues its two-game road swing in Liberty, Mo., on Saturday for a 1 p.m. GLVC tipoff at William Jewell. The Lady Panthers are back home next week for key GLVC West tests with Quincy (Thursday) and Truman State (Saturday)
