Kameron Bundy scored 19 points to lead four Panthers in double-figures and Drew Moore posted his second straight double-double as Drury rolled to a 72-43 victory over Central Christian in DU's final non-conference game Saturday at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

Moore finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Panthers moved to 7-4 on the season. Drury rolled to a 42-22 lead by halftime, fueled by an 18-0 run in the half and never looked back in building upon the momentum the Panthers picked up with their Dec. 19 win over No. 7 Tarleton State (68-67) in Las Vegas.

Joshua Palmer also had a career-high 15 points and Tevin Foster added 13 points, four assists and four steals for the Panthers, who dominated Central Christian 39-22 on the boards.

Douglas Moore had a career-high nine rebounds in just 13 minutes in his first significant action since returning from a foot injury.

"Obviously Central Christian had some athletes, but I'm not worried about who we're playing … I'm worried more about us doing some things the right way," Drury coach Steve Hesser said. "Lucciano (Gamiz) doesn't take a shot from the field, and I really thought he did some outstanding things. Drew Moore continues to get better, and obviously it's good to get Dougie (Moore) back and get him some action.

"I like our attitudes … they fought it for a period since we've started, or maybe more than just a period, but since we've come back (from holiday break), they're allowing us to coach them. I saw some improvement in things we've been preaching. I'm proud of them because they did the things we've been working on since they came back on Monday. If we continue to do that, we will improve."

Alonzo Stafford had 12 points and Sam Clayborn added 10 points for the Tigers from McPherson, Kan., an NAIA/NCCAA member who was playing the game officially as an exhibition (and are 9-5 on the season).

Drury shot 49 percent from the field (26 of 53) and held Central Christian to 36 percent (16 of 45) while forcing 25 turnovers, helping the Panthers overcome a 23-turnover effort themselves.

Drury returns to GLVC play next week, visiting Lewis on Thursday and Wisconsin-Parkside on Saturday, the latter to be televised nationally on the American Sports Network. The Panthers return to The O' for league games on January 14th (Indianapolis) and January 16th (Saint Joseph's). For tickets, call (417) 873-6389 … kids 12-and-under always are free at Drury.
